Muffins for Moms and Grandmas
Demitrius and Isabella were so excited that Heather and I both were going to be able to participate in the Muffins for Moms and Grandmas this year. Previous years I have not been able to get into the school. Well, with Mother Nature throwing her curves as she has been this year, there was a two hour delay and the special breakfast was post-poned. It was rescheduled for Friday, March 5 and none the less Mommy couldn't make it as she had left for Columbus yesterday. Anyhow, I did make it and I think that Demitrius and Isabella was almost as proud of me as I am of them. I think I met more folks (who's names I do not remember) in that hour then I have in the whole four months of school. They were just introducing everyone to me. It was a great and very blessed opportunity that I would not have missed for anything. Thanks little ones for being so special. I love you tons.

Happy 2nd MaKiya and 13th Kalee
We celebrated the big 2 and 13 for two special girls in our lives. We were fortunate enough that Ashley had been keeping her eyes opened for a Kalahari Special to have the celebrations and sure enough she pulled through. So that is where things happened. We also made mention of Bill's Birthday on March 4 and then Mason turning 7 on March 8. There were special cupcakes for all and each had their own special kind. We had two days of fun and laughter.

Happy Birthday Heather
Had a little family get together for Heather's Birthday and it was a bring Heather's favorite dish buffet. It was great with a variety of food and all diets were put on the back burner for the evening. There was enough food for days later but it was still just as good. We had a pretty good turn out there was Clyde, Denise, Devin, Ashley, Scott, Derrin, Makiya, Mojo, Robin, Dominic, Emma, Alayna, Melinda, Madison, Hashbrown, Jodi, Samantha, Allie, Zannon, KyLeigh, Nicole, Kalee, Britenee, Demitrius, Isabella and of course Me. WOW, I hope I didn't forget anyone.
Forget the traditional cake in the face, Nicole waited until Heather had a bowl of ice cream and then smashed it into Heather's face. We laughed until we had tears because it caught her so off guard. It was great.
Heather and Devin definitely looking like sisters. It is amazing how much they look alike with all the changes they both have made in their lives.
Heather showing off her new style with Aunt MoJo. They both are looking great these days. Love ya
Denise and Devin showing some love. She has to take advantage of it while she can cuz unless Devin is in front of the camera this isn't happening often. Only kidding.
Denise and Devin were quite excited to see Poppie and needless to say he wasn't sure who he wanted to go with he just new he was loving all the attention!!
And you know what one of the best parts of the evening was watching how many it took to put together a simple computer chair for Heather. Let's see Clyde, Jodi and Zannon started then Dominic got into it for a couple of things and then you know at the end the kids had a great time sitting on it and spinning in circles. But, I don't think that it was still put together properly, however, it serves her purpose so I guess it will do. Happy Birthday Rae.

Happy Birthday Abby and Gilberto
My goal for 2010 is to try and remember to acknowledge all my loved ones throughout the year. With either a phone call, e-mail or with the younger ones trying to get a special birthday card in the mail to let them know I was thinking about them on their special day. Well, so far so good. And in return I received a really special card of my own. A great big thanks to Charity and family for the special card. Sure did make my day. Love and miss you guys so much.

Keep Her In Your Prayers
Aunt Tina was really in rare form today when I visisted. Uncle Bo had said something and she stated that she would slap him if she could get her arm up there. So he offered to help her by lifting it up to him and the smile that it brought to both was priceless. I can't believe how peacefully she is accepting that her time is near and talking about the party she is going to have with those already gone.

Anticipation Of A Package from Big Sassy One
Ok the Big Sassy One has put the challenge on!! She has gotten the excitement of receiving a package in the mail with the curiousity of what is in it going. She has indicated that it is in a medium size parcel package that the post office provides. She has challenged me to try and figure it out before I receive it with a limited number of clues. There is something translucent, this I think might be some of the goody bags that you put special treats in; cranberry red is something to do with the old fashion red hots that we had as kids; icy blue cough drops; cotton candy pink stuffing for a valentine pillow; red on white material for the pillow; brunt orange with lots of creamy white a pair of footies.
For the record this is really difficult because I have the package sitting right here in front of me and I promised not to open it until I finished this post. Therefore, I am going to sign off with this one and I will update in a few with the real contents revealed. Love you but you know how hard this is for me.

Most Special Christmas Present
Finally, had the opportunity to put up my most cherished and special Christmas present of all. This plaque honestly says it all and let me tell you they still struggle over who is going to be next to Nana or who is going to sit where on my lap. I really dread the time that they think they are too big for Nana's lap. Thank you Heather, Demitrius and Isabella for something so special. I love you guys more then you will ever know.

Surprise Card with Package to follow
Received this really special just thinking of you card in the mail that really meant the world to me "Just Because". Then to see TJei's signature in the corner just made it all that more special. I was really excited and was wondering what I did to deserve this, so needless to say I called to find out what was up and Big Sassy indicated that this is what she needed my address for and she just wanted to get it in the mail. WELL. . . this was a very nice jester but I knew that she was up to something and sure enough a couple of days later this arrived. . .
This Project Life has been on back order for quite a while and then there was delays in shipping as it was being put over to Amazon.com so I really didn't think there was any chance of ever receiving one since it was such a hot item. Big Sassy knew how much I really wanted one of these and besides what was going on with the shipping that I really couldn't afford one at this time. So to my surprise this package was delivered and needless to say it was a day of some emotions blasting out. I honestly think I was jumping in the wheelchair because I had received this. Again, Big Sassy I really can't thank you enough for your thoughtfulness. There may be many miles between us but that will never interfer with the love I have for you and how special you are as My Big Sassy Sister. I love you so much and thanks a million for making my day.
