Well, come bright and early in the morning everyone was up and around all excited about going to Cedar Point. Kalee, Britenee, Demitrius, Bella, TJei, Emma and Ahmad was really excited as this was a first for all of them. Oh, I forgot to mention that Heather brought her two brother-in-laws with her Basil and Ahmad. Dominic, Robin and Emma also joined us for the day. After breakfast everyone packed up and headed out for the day.
It ended up being a very hot and muggy day however, there was fun to be had by all. Julius took Demitrius to ride his very first roller coaster since he is finally tall enough to do this. The little ones were so exhausted as the day went on as the heat was way too much. By 7:00 p.m. Karen was ready to go back to the hotel with the little ones. They were just as ready to go!! So Mike took Karen, Britenee, TJei, Bella, Emma and Mia back to the hotel to go swimming and get out of the heat.
I kept Kalee, Demitrius and Ahmad with me riding the medium size rides and Julius, Basil, Quentin, Heather, Dominic and Robin headed back to the larger coasters and rides. By the end of the evening almost all the cell phones were dead and trying to find each other was rather interesting. I did however, call Karen at the hotel and ask her to try and get my room back for another night as I knew there was NO way I was going to be able to safely drive back to Toledo after the totally exhausting day at the Point. We finally made it back to the hotel at about 11:00 p.m. After finding something for everyone to eat it didn't take long for everyone to crash.
It was such a fun day and I really enjoyed spending the day with all the family that was able to join.
