How Do I Stop This Thing!!
She has finally done it!! She has learned to ride without training wheels. The major problem is as she was riding around the circle she was screaming for help ~ "I don't know how to stop this thing" It was so funny because all the kids were trying to catch up to her but all she knew is she had to keep pumping it so she didn't fall.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB
Happy Birthday to a very special young man. Jacob is a quarter of a century old today and oh how I remember the days when he would grab his guitar and just walk around the couch and sing to me. This is just one of the many things that I can recall that make him a special young man. Love ya "Andy"

Camper Deck
This is such a wonderful improvement to go from the rigging of a ramp to the custom made deck with a ramp built right into it. The deck is almost complete except for the railing and sealing which I hope to have the money to finish up in the next couple of weeks. I am looking forward to having some of my friends up to enjoy the camper now that it is safer to get in and out of it.
Peach Cobbler Like Uncle Mike's
When we was out for dinner and Demitrius noticed the peach cobbler this started a whole new conversation of why Uncle, Uncle, Uncle you know the one that made this better when we were camping Uncle!! Oh, you mean Uncle Mike? Yes, I really like his better but this is good. Why, doesn't Uncle Mike come visit us more so he can make us his kind of peach cobbler? Cuz, if he comes home he can make his peach cobbler and me and TJei can play some more. Like I said it is good but not as good as Uncle Mike's. I really like the way he makes his when we are camping.

Song That Describes My Life
"Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield
The I-Live-Life-To-The-Fullest-And-I-Am-HAPPY type! You live life to the max, and you live each day like its your last. You forget the rules and just go for it, and want to experience it all before it all disappears... Your life is a book... and you're writing it! Love it, make it, work it, and shape it... you make it what YOU want! Don't forget a happy ending though!

Family Picture Time
Hard to believe that it has been almost three and a half years since we have had a family picture taken. They turned out great and we had a good time doing it.

Celebration With My Family
Had a lack of candles but nothing could put a damper on the fact that the little ones wanted to have candles for me. Therefore, we had a lighter for the past, one for the present and most definitely for the future. I love you guys for being so creative. That is Scott, Denise and Heather handling the candles.
Heather and Melinda made a wonderful favorite dinner of chunky beef enchiladas, refried beans, rice with side orders of salsa and guacamole dip
Scott was so hungry that he sat up his dish and just grabbed the nearest utensil to eat with and it was this large serving fork! He was all smiles about it.
Uncie was trying to get Makiya to come to him and as usual the only way he could do it was with the pudding cup. It didn't take long to get her to come to him after tasting that.
Kalee was all smiles after wishing me Happy Birthday, I was wondering what she was up to.
Grandma (Denise) showing Bella sum Luv. Bella was quite upset that everyone was showing Makiya all the love. She definitely doesn't like to share what she thinks is hers.
Makiya finally made her rounds over to me where I had some mac and cheesee that was left over from the great lunch that I had earlier with my friends at Crackle Barrel. Once Bella found out what Makiya was eating "is that mines" mac and cheese then she wanted her share of it and needless to say Bella ate the rest.
Britenee in her own little world but enjoying herself.
Kalee was doing just about anything to get into one of the pictures so she took it upon herself to snap the picture at arms length. She could have moved in a little closer for the picture.
Melinda and Madison were there to help celebrate and put together a wonderful dinner and celetration.
I would like to thank everyone for all your effort to make my day so special. I love each and everyone of you so much.

Birthday Celebration with Wonderful Friends
The gang of Cheryl and Ellen from Tiffin, Deb H and Sherry from Curtice, Deb C from Bowling Green, Marcella and April from Walbridge, Deb O from Rossford and Michelle and Ginny from Toledo met in Perrysburg for lunch at Crackle Barrel. I am blessed with some of the most wonderful friends that a person could possibly ask for. I think this is the largest group that we have had together in quite a while and it was to help celebrate my birthday. I had the greatest time just getting with everyone and spending time just hanging out and talking. Thanks everyone for being such treasured friends.

Almost Time For Camping!!!
Scott and Kenny getting one of the decks set up.
Derrin was so excited to get to go down to the camp ground and start cleaning it up for camping and getting the wood for the fire.
The first camp fire of 2009. I forgot to get a picture after all the work was done. I think there was like nine trips to the area for dumping the leaves after cleaning. It looked so totally different after the days work was put in. We are all so excited about getting up there and having fun.

Gracie Being Silly Again
My Rock (My Mom)
Was feeling quite down in the dumps today after hearing that a good friend loss her Mom yesterday. We have talked many times about this being the most difficult thing that I have ever had to face in life (and trust me I have been through many things). Even though it has been almost nine years since my Mom passed on each and every time I hear of someone close having to deal with the same loss it only reminds me how it seems like yesterday. I tell The Lady (Mom) often but it is between us how much I love her and miss her but there are times that I would like the world to know and remember just how SPECIAL MOM'S ARE. Love and appreciate them while you have them. Love ya Lady
Sometimes I catch myself
Thinking, "When I phone,
I can talk of this or that!"
Then remember, I'm alone.
She was always there
To answer my calls -
To listen to my "small talk"
Or when I climbed the walls.
At times, I didn't feel like talking
And somehow, she understood -
Didn't say she wished I'd call
Or make me feel like I should.
Now, I wish I would have
More times, to show I cared -
To say, just how important
Were, all those times we shared.
I could have shown my love
So much more than I did -
I never, did it enough
Even when I was a kid.
Now it's too late to do or say
All those things I wish I had -
No way to ease the pain inside
When my heart is sad.
She was my "anchor" to this life -
The "rock", that I clung to -
The place, where I could turn
When, nowhere else would do.
Now, the ravages of time
Have worn my "rock" away -
And all I have to cling to
Are memories of yesterday.
Love Ya Mom (8/13/36 - 6/28/00) and Dad (4/4/35 - 8/18/91)
