Mother Nature

What does "Mother Nature" have in store for us!! This is a picture of the pool less than two weeks ago with almost a inch of snow dropped overnight!!
Then we were blessed with 77 degree weather this week end and tempted with the pool being open and needless to say Demitrius was not buying that the water was still too cold to go into so Hoppa had to show him that there was no way he was going to be able to stay in more then a couple of seconds.

He was ok for a little while after this but kept checking back and wanting to know if the sun had cooked the water enough to warm it up yet!

Visit with Aunt Catherine

Aunt Catherine was so surprised when I showed up with all the kids for an afternoon visit. She was patiently waiting by the door for me to show and her eyes just lite up when she seen all the kids with me. I was really surprised because she did remember "Gracie" from the last time we were able to visit. She also checked under my blanket for "Poppie" who she also has fallen in love with. She had so much to chat about and was so happy about sharing the few items that she had stored away in the little brown hand bag that is laying on my lap. She was telling me that just about everything she has left is in that little bag; marriage certificate, birth certificate, her parents death certificates, a few pictures and her proof of income!! Love ya Aunt Catherine

Shrine Circus

Sold out crowd at the circus~~NOPE~~My group at the circus!! There is still no better feeling then being able to take a large group of kids (big and small) to the circus!! A great big "Thank You" to Joe for providing the tickets to allow me to take all the kids. I love having the opportunity to make sure that all the kids get to see the circus.

Let the Fun Begin

Let the fun begin, I am free and on my way out to the ocean. No wait come back there are a few rules that need to be followed.

Ok, now that we are back in the group there are a few safety rules that need to be followed. Wait the older girls are already out and about.

Didn't think that it would happen but here is a group picture of most of the kids that were on board for the wonderful trip.

After a fun day in the ocean and sun Bella Grace just couldn't keep her eyes open even for dinner. She was out like a light.

Getting Ready to Head Out to SC

What a wonderful trip again! We headed out on April 7 and spent the night at Queen Henneman's home so that everyone was prepared to leave bright and early the next morning. There were 25 of us that found comfort for the night and was up bright and early to continue packing and preparing to head out. The girls got to know each other as they would be spending a week together. No Problem there~~
